WCD4HG is a powerful professional dehumidifier for warehouses and industries. The working temperature range has been broadened using a new intelligent defrost system, i-EcoDefrost, from + 2 ° C up to + 35 ° C., The design of WCD4HG Pro is well proven and has high reliability. This makes it reliable and easy to maintain. All exposed parts are adapted for use in aggressive environments. WCD4HG Pro is very energy efficient because it is based on the same principle as a heat pump. In the process of this professional dehumidifier, no unnecessary heat is lost as the same air circulates all the time. Therefore, the method is easy to control and very energy-efficient.

The i-EcoDefrost HG system is a technical inovation developed and produced in Sweden.

Improved dehumidification capacity by combining the existing i-eco control with Hot Gas defrost feature we are able to maximise the dehumidification capacity. Due to the fact that we can allow the machine to run with an evaporation temperature lower than 0 ° C for a specified time and still prevent freezing (which otherwise can occur at low ambient temperatures for a “standard” machine).

Wood’s have also added a safety defrost if the evaporator becomes colder then -10 ° C. (Not possible without using i-eco control).

How it works:

It senses the room temperature and humidity and runs the compressor system in an optimal way to enable highest performance in capacity also at lower temperatures and humidity levels.
